"Over the course of 6 years and across 3 different countries, Maeve Jackson accumulated a collection of writings, photos, and videos through research, collecting oral stories, and her personal performative experience of doing laundry. She was interested in how this domestic task is shared by many, no matter where one may be from, how it has evolved over time, and the poetic self-reflections that happens while washing, hanging, and folding our laundry. Jackson invites her audience to contribute to the project by sharing their own stories and memories around laundry by donating their imagery."
